¹⁹ If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods^(A) and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed.^(B)

A Prayer for the Ephesians

¹⁴ For this reason I kneel^(A) before the Father,

¹⁸ And the Lord drove out^(A) before us all the nations,^(B) including the Amorites, who lived in the land.^(C) We too will serve the Lord, because he is our God.^(D)”

³ They say, ‘Haven’t our houses been recently rebuilt? This city is a pot,^(A) and we are the meat in it.’^(B)
